A little Yorkshire terrier who was tied to a post on a boat launch in Maine, USA and left in the rain, has now found a safe and dry home and some very loving owners. Forrest and Linda Jordan found the dog, who had been dubbed ‘Goldy’, at the Humane Society in Lewiston and fell in love at first sight. The Jordans, who are in their 70s, decided to adopt her and rename her ‘Lucky’ because they were lucky to have found each other.
Lucky seems eternally grateful to her saviors, and demonstrates her loyalty by following them around from room to room. “She made herself right at a home,” Forrest Jordan said, “She’s some happy, I’ll tell you.”
“I’m so excited,” said Jo Bell, a family friend, “that this dog ended up at the home that she did. These are about the nicest people an animal could go home with.”
