Ain’t No Mountain High Enough for Sir Edmund

In 1953, Sir Edmund Hillary, cialis coupons

along with Nepali Sherpa Tenzig Norgay, were the first human beings ever to reach the summit of Mount Everest. The New Zealand Geographic Board made an announcement on Wednesday that they intend to rename the South Ridge of Aoraki/Mount Cook, New Zealand’s highest peak, after the famous Kiwi mountaineer. Hillary was also the first man to climb the South Ridge, in 1948. It will become Hillary Ridge if the proposal passes public consultation. It’s just too bad that Sir Edmund passed away in 2008 (at the age of 88!) and will not be able to witness this honor of having one of his countries most impressive mountain peaks named after him!
