The mountain in China that was about to be renamed
as Hallelujah might be having an identity crisis. Now a different set of tourism officials, those at Huangshan (also known as the Yellow Mountain) in the province of Anhui, claim that their mountain was the inspiration for the mountain in Avatar, not the other one.
The picture isn’t made any clearer by James
Cameron, the director of the huge hit of a film, who said that he had used a lot of references and included both Chinese areas in that statement. And Venezuela. Any guesses where the next area to claim lineage will be?
The story will no doubt continue for months
if not years to come…
