Name Change For Clifton Village Cider Shop Joanna Yeates Visited

Bargain Booze in Clifton Village was one of the last shops that young Joanna Yeates entered on her way home, before she was brutally murdered and found next to Longwood Lane, Failand. The local liquor store where Yeates bought two bottles of cider that night has renamed itself back it its previous name, Baryah’s.

Staff at the shop are insisting that the name change is not due to the national publicity that the shop has received since Yeates’s murder. They have said in a statement to the Evening Post that it is the shop owner’s family name and they were always planning to change it.
