Adam Manning and Emma Pearce, owners of the Red Lion Pub in Kidlington, Oxfordshire are devoted football fans. They will be showing every single World Cup game live on their big screen and they have decked out the pub with flags of all 32 participating nations. But the most dramatic show of support is the temporary renaming of the pub! The pub has been renamed to ‘The Three Lions’ for the duration of the World Cup, and if England wins they plan to make the name change permanent. The managers have also been
collecting thousands of unwanted football shirts to donate to children in Johannesburg and Cape Town. With the World Cup kicking off very soon, I’m sure The Three Lions will be a very popular place to watch the game!
